Red, grey, black and white Hand carded, spun and woven vintage Ganado Navajo Rug.  Woven in the 1970s. Made by Mary Rose Begay, in the Ganado region of the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Price tag from original sale

with price of $1800 still on the piece. 43 X 60 inches.

In excellent used condition, no holes, fading or damage to side selvedges or corner tassels. There is a tremendous

amount of work in this piece. Literally Raise the sheep, shear the sheep, clean and card the wool, spin to yarn, dye

Black and red colors, set up loom, then finally weave the piece on an upright loom!! Current pricing would be in the $800

to $1000 range.
